This lady, never referred to by name in the comic, was named Scarlet by fans.
(By the way, it would be great to know who suggested this name first.)

Image
This person, however, was never given any name. How about we fix it and come up with a fan name for her?

UPD: So far we have got (in alphabetic order):

* A. Bondi Girl - 1 vote
* Azure - 1 vote
* Butterscotch - 0 votes
* Caramel - 1 vote
* Cerulea - 1 vote
* Crispy - 1 vote
* Ensign Blueshirt - 1 vote
* Ima Blue - 1 vote
* Indigo - 0 votes
* Maya Angeblue - 2 votes
* Michelle - 1 vote
* Miss Midnight - 1 vote
* Periwinkle - 0 votes
* Peri Winkle / Lady Peri Winkle - 2 vote
* Pewi Winkle - 1 vote
* Saphir Braun - 1 vote
* Sapphire - 3 votes
* Sapphire Dup - 1 vote

(By the way, there is an old song named The Dark Girl Dressed in Blue. Although I am pretty sure those are not related.)

    Surely we can do better than "Blue". We don't call Scarlet "Red".
    And it needs a good erfworld style pun too, like Scarlet O'Hair.

    I think of her as "A. Bondi Girl".

    Could also choose Azure, or Indigo.

    Sapphire works for me, though.

    How about Peri Winkle? Or Lord Peri Winkle. As in the color periwinkle. Or does Peri sound too masculine?

    Edit: I thought this was interesting. (peri)

    Super Edit: As well as this. (winkle)

    Sapphire sounds like a stripper's name.

    and it also reminds me of Miko's epic fail.

    Scarlet has red clothes but she's named for her red hair. It would be silly to name this commander after her blue clothes since they aren't really characterisitc of her. I suggest we name her for her complexion: Caramel. Or maybe Butterscotch.

    Peri Winkle sounds masculine in a non heterosexual way. Or maybe I could put it, Masculine in a omega male kind of way. I can see the person being teased as a kid, "Hurry up winkie boy."

    When I think of the warlord in question, I think that her greatest assets were rational thinking and organizing other people. And I actually liked her and regret that out of all ways to die she was crapped.
    I was actually thinking of Michelle. Hopefully, no one gets offended. (Tell me if that happens.)

    Name them after my friend's cat: Periwinkle.

    Edit: Oh, shoot. I didn't catch someone saying the same thing earlier. Name them "Ensign Blueshirt", in honor of the new Star Trek.

    We've already had an Ensign though... Ensign Toast, one of the original uncroaked warlords at Gobwin Knob.

    I like Lady Peri Winkle. Works for me, and unlike "Sapphire" sounds more like a name. Although if Rob and Jamie never deign to name minor characters, that's ok with me too. Not everything has to be explained or named.
