    SQUEEEELLLL!

Okay, that's all I really have to say about this one. :-) Well, that and it took me a few seconds to realize why Stanley is yelling "Mazel tov!", but I have an excuse, I'm not Jewish. ;-)

Wow. I never thought I'd say this, but... Go Stanley!

Pretty nice character growth for the Tool here. Plus, it does show off that he's not wholly incompetent.

Or he could be suffering from natural magic... remember "love is a battlefield"! Stanley is always mean to Sizemore. Maggie likes Sizemore. Therefore Stanley is obviously jealous and secretly battling to win the love of Maggie. He has realised that Maggie respects Parson, and if he lets Parson die then Maggie may never love him. But if he saves Parson he may be the hero in Maggie's eyes!

Anyone else find it interesting that infernos seem to happen in real-time (or maybe I mean Stupidworld time) rather than in turns? As in, there's actual urgency to cross the distance before Parson burns up despite there being no change in active side. I think that's fascinating.

I think all combat, once engaged, happens in real time. Compare it to Lords of the Realm 2.. Turn based turns with real time battles.

I love Stanley's character growth, the ultimate underdog, considering his origins as a Piker.

Hah! I love how Stanley is doing the right thing, but totally on his terms.

"Get outta the way! I'm doing something." "Whose the hero, now!" LOL!

He's growing as a character, but he's still definitely himself.

This would seem to confirm that the hammer can only levitate up-and-down, not fly horizontally, since he needs a purple to send him through the window.

As heartwarming as this is, I have a bad feeling about it. It's too easy. And Charlie should be smart enough to have a contingency for this -- if it were catastrophic for his plans for Stanley to change the capital, he'd have never let Parson's order get through in the first place.

(Actually, how are they going to tell Sizemore they need him? He wasn't able to get through to Maggie, after all; no reason to think either him or Parson would be able to reach Sizemore. Parson could dash through the portal to get him personally, but who knows what the situation is back there?)

The change in portals should be visible in the MK, Maggie may be out of juice but the great minds have enough to spare. I'm guessing not even Charlie can block all thinkamancers from contacting Parson.

I'm having trouble with the background in the last panel. There's a throne there, shouldn't it be the room and not the sky?

Its one of those 'you weren't expecting for everything to be resolved rationally' events.

Parson is still a big loser in all of this. All he's really managed is to lose Jack and learn that Charlie is definitely Bad. If he hadn't appeared in person like a selfish Tool, the victory would have been cleaner overall.

Wait what happened to the page with the rest of Stanley's rant? Did it get rectonjured? He talked to the troll for longer than that, right? I don't see it in the last few pages, though.

I don't get the mazel tov thing - it means "good luck" right?

At first I assumed the purple sonic weapon was pushing Stanley into the room, but perhaps it was just smashing the glass?

I was laughing with glee when I saw this comic.

Hope Xin had as much fun drawing it as I did reading it. :)
