Orders for Turn 5 can be sent in now.
I won't be sending a "start of turn 5" report. You can work it out for yourselves.

    Cheers

A question: Does it cost anything to access the new unit types?

It did not for me, assuming they are from new cities.

I would tell you, but I don't actually own any yet. My guess is around 200ish.

There is a formula for revenue from City levels. So how much a level 3 city produces depends on how many other Cities you control, and their levels.

As Captain Kirk would say "Best Guess, Mr Sulu."

I think LTDave is making up numbers as he goes. Either that or the upkeep on one of my turns was wrong because it screwed up every formula I could come up with :P

Oh, wait, new idea! Yes! Yes, that could work!

    To the mathamancers!

Edit: If I get a mathamancer, his/her first order is to calculate unit upkeep.

Drat! They are on to me!

My response to all such accusations is that Erfworld is a Pantheistic Universe. So if something doesn't correlate with what happened in the past, we can safely assume that one of the Titans did it.

That would certainly be one heck of a surprise attack. Even I wouldn't have expected something like that, and my list of potential actions and reactions is.... extensive.

Can you send me an updated upkeep that shows the amount from my losses last turn? I'd like to know what I have to spend before getting me in the red this turn.

I'm liking this game, but the lack of firm rules is proving to be quite a hindrance (even with the flexibility it provides)

Loath as I am to give out information for free, you can generally expect your upkeep to be roughly 25-30% of the cost of your troops, with the % getting larger as you have more troops (and/or more expensive troops. I'm not sure of all the factors). I'm sure it can go above 30%, but, well, I don't know how many troops most of you have.

I have processed turn 6 - battle reports coming in the next hour or two - there's a three year old who wants to play a game just now.

    Cheers
