I'm confused. I guess I thought all bats were the same, but there are bats and Doombats? One of which sucks blood and the other of which eats bugs?

Looks alright to me, since guano isn't a weather phenomenon.

I don't think so. I just think sometimes they call their Doombats "bats."

If there were non-doom bats, they'd be wildlife, and probably not worth it for Warlords to be carrying around.

Weather is the state of the atmosphere, so if there's guano in the atmosphere it is a weather phenomenon...

technically true(thank you OED), but i don't really see a conversation like:
    A: how's the weather?
    B: eh. it's pretty guano
A: make sure you got your guanojacket, then.

on that note..gonna go draw up plans for a guanojacket.

I should say a naturally occurring phenomenon like rain, snow, or frogs.

Now that I'm thinking about this, I'm going to assume a Bat Country reference is coming up.

American Pie is from 1971. Don't think it would be in their "song list". Jillian is certianly in survival mode and for good reason.

I wonder how long it's going to be before Parson starts banging his head against a wall because of all the puns?

I think probably the reason why there's such a high concentration of puns in these updates is that Parson isn't around to witness them. I mean I can see it being a balancing act otherwise. You can't really have puns without Parson reacting in some way, and Parson shaking his head or wincing at puns would only be entertaining for so long. Remove Parson, and you get good ol' fashioned 'audience laughing at references while the characters are being completely earnest' (insert clever trope name here), which can be made to stretch lots longer.

An Archon is an Erf Archon. (Reminds me of the Simpsons: "It was some sort of land-sea-cow." Or some such.) It's like that joke about some other car make being the Rolls Royce of automobiles.

No, no. Don't confuse the mere Cadillac of Automobiles with the Rolls Royce.

But not fish. Everyone knows that fish are due to the Mad Fishmonger. Thank you, Charles Fort.

Also zoombats (would be great for recon work except they go so fast they slam into anything that might be in the way), foombats (spontaneously explode—useful for kamikaze attacks), boombats (the result of feeding beans to a hungry bat), moonbats (not sure whether they come from moons or eat them), noonbats (like mad dogs and Englishmen), goonbats (they tend to fall in the water), and Junebats (only appear in swarms once a year).

Yes, those are the original artists, but made much later, in the 80's or such - I used Related + new searches on youtube to find the original recordings; try it! :D

    From wikipedia:
    Quote:
Gelatin (from French gélatine) is a translucent, colourless, brittle, nearly tasteless solid substance, derived from the collagen inside animals' skin and bones. It is commonly used as a gelling agent in food, pharmaceuticals, photography, and cosmetic manufacturing. ... Gelatin is an irreversibly hydrolyzed form of collagen. Gelatin is classified as a foodstuff, with E number E441. It is in some "gummy" candies as well as other products such as marshmallows and some low-fat yogurt.
