I have a bad feeling about this, Tram.

and I see the master sword/hylian shield, shredder's full outfit, bogroll's outfit, power bracelet, wanda/skeletor's staff...
he seems to be picking some strong symbolic items if not the strongest items in the pile...

is the clasp on his cloak the Xbox Red Ring of Death?

Also for Signamancy, Parson has seemed to lose his pupils in the closeup...

He actually asked "What's the worst that could happen?"

Welp, that pretty much dooms Jetstone, methinks.

Dollars to donuts those *are* the strongest items in the pile.

At least when it comes to bonus-stacking.

What happens if the CW suddenly appears in the hex with a bunch of "all units in hex gain XX attack" multiplied by his CW modifier?

...mind you, that doesn't account for "food fighting," but it would drastically change the odds.

And Slately proves that he isn't completely Genre Blind by pointing out that the WORST thing that the titans could hear was what just came out of his son's mouth...

Is that a Heart Container in the second panel?

And was the cloak always tattered at the edge?

Things are just getting better and better. And is that Shredder's helmet sitting on a table in the back?

Well, with the cloak and staff, and the "We'll meet him in the portal room," and the "And as far as how we get there, you know how," it certainly seems very very much like he'll be portal hopping.

At least, if that's NOT the gambit, we're definitely being intentionally misled to believe that it is.

...can he shove Slately into the portal and kill him during a parley?

For the love of Titans, Tramennis, PLEASE don't be such an idiot. "What's the worst that can happen?" Really, Tram?

I'll repeat my hopes from many panels back - I hope Tram really does turn out to be competent and intelligent and actually DOES something USEFUL with all the talking. Because if, as it looks, he just uses all the talking to walk into Parson's trap and not do any better than Ossomer, then all the buildup of him as smart will look like a lie. Which it's looking like right now. Looking like he's not any smarter than the other sons, he just likes talking more than fighting.

But, I hope I'm wrong on that :)

Parson took a level in badass.

And, I should add.. how exactly does Tramennis expect to talk to Hamster this turn anyway? Does Jetstone even have a thinkamancer that we've seen?

Ftl: Ansom's not super-dumb. He did play Ossommer/Tramennis into his trap with the veil and whatnot, predicting what their defenses would be like.

Ah, this will end wonderfully...famous last words, I'll bet from Tramennis...This has lots of potential!

Hm, I'm not the only one who camps out the site at night waiting for an update I see....

Fully detailed lips and chin, FTW! I think about now, Parson could eat his weight in any of the jocks that hassled him in school.

Also, this is reminiscent of the first time he sent Wanda out, and she knocked Ansom off his mount.

You know, I was thinking... what if Tram's diplomacy has been a force for good in Erfworld, and that perhaps Janis fears for Tram's survival? Such a keen mind, Parson would learn a lot talking to him -- but if he shoots first and asks later, he may never have the chance.

Not too surprising... he has a character trait of allowing his Chief Warlords to do more or less whatever they want. He provides input, but gives them free reign. (heh, I made a pun)

    I'm kinda worried for Parson.

His (apparent) target is A) moving and B) assisted by a high level warlord.
