I know there's no Good or Evil, only Holy or Unholy, but I still hear the Imperial March echoing faintly in the new office...

Gotten so much more info out of the update with this new style that we did with comic pages. Good work rob. and Jaime, the art for this page is pretty epic :D

Heck I am glad for the little mini story updates. They could have just as easily said, "see you all in the fall" and had done with it. This way though we get some nice little filler to put the next book in context :D

Nice one. Thus Stanley has arrived. The new imperialistic décor with the Star and the Tool looks ominous. You're booped Parson.

I bloopin love this. I really can't wait to see more of Jamie's imagining of the architecture. The description in this update was quite epic, well done guys. Thanks for what you do. These updates are really soothing the withdrawal symptoms from the erf-cwack

Nice. I really liked the detail in this update, and the picture was good too. Do you suppose Stanley's gonna set up a gameboard table again so Parson can lead the armies from the city?

Yes I like the descriptions a lot also. Seems less ambiguous some how than some of the strips. "Six dwagons," eh? Big big loses there.

Imperialistic Chinese... didn't FAQ have a similar architecture?

"Toothy bits" on top of a fortified wall is called crenellation. The high parts are merlons and the lower parts are embrasures.

Any chance that we'll be able to see the new Gobwin Knob in its entirety? It sounds beautiful and impressive, and a shot of it (sans characters) would make a great desktop or even wall art.

    Jamie? Bitte?

But the real question is; will they be able to summon Asian Dwagons like the one around the pole?

    I dearly hope so.

and @gameboy" Yes. Yes it did. I think we know the Tool's plans once he has reasserted control and bought more troops.

The change in style in the buildings and the foreboding tone of the omniscient narrator definitely set the right mood for things. Getting such a powerrful Capital- everything is changing and the architecture is becoming representative of what they are NOW. I'm interested in seeing what Stanley says to Parson, most of all.

Still avoiding the "Stanley wants the Arkentools and now Wanda has one, so is he going to kill her and take them?" question. I had really expected that one to get some real panels. I think that piece of the story is the one I'm most regretting getting this treatment. Stanley has to grow as a person to overcome his obsessions in order to recognize that owning a second tol is less powerful than having a willing employee own one.

Wonder what stanley's reaction will be to the wanda-pliers thing.
i liked the artwork in this one a lot.

Will these fillers will be shown in the books as well?

I wonder if Stanley chose the design or if it was random. Either way I like the change.

So buildings pop at a particular level on the turn they are ordered. Still unclear if buildings can be upgraded.
