Post subject:  Missing $30 in Tool Points, support unresponsive

I'm missing $30 in Tool Points from my account. I should have 33, but when I try to place an order it says I only have 3 available. I have used the contact form in the store, and the contact form on the main site to ask for help, as well as e-mailed what e-mail addresses I could find related to Erfworld. In my e-mails I sent more details, including a screenshot of my paypal page showing that the $3 payments were made. My request for support has gone completely unanswered for a week and a half now (since the first request was sent). What do I have to do to get this fixed?!

Someone please help. Thanks.

I signed up for Tool membership on Oct 15, and I still haven't received my validation or Tool points so I can place my preorder. I've also sent messages to support with no response.

I know that I had to go back and forth in PMs quite a bit to get my account eventually straightened out. You might want to try IRC (details available in this forum thread).

I also signed up. After getting absolutely zero response from email, forum, and contact form attempts, I canceled my subscription. It's bad form to send out a 'please help us' request, and then not respond to people giving you money.

I don't expect to ever get my Tool Points. Reading forums, apparently it regularly takes weeks or months, but that's not acceptable levels of customer support for me when combined with no contact at all. I know I can't contest the charge easily, so they get my money, I get nothing in return.

Maybe I should be patient. maybe I shouldn't have tried to become a Tool. Either way, I'm unhappy.

Mal handles the administrative stuff, and was able to resolve all issues for me.

I sent Mal a PM on Friday. Still waiting to hear from him or Rob (or anyone). The messages went from my "outbox" in the forum to "sent" after a day or two, so I imagine that means they've been received....

Glad to hear it! Nothing's changed for me so far. Still only 3 points in my account, and it's been 11 months since I last used any. No reply from Mal or Rob or anyone else yet.

My next Paypal subscription payment is supposed to go through on 11/5. I wonder if I'll have 6 points after that, or if I'll be missing 33 at that point....
