Ok so how about if the scout gets an Xp boost from just being in the tower angle plus an extra xp boost if the tower actually reveals an otherwise unnocupied angle ?

    Sure; if the zone hasn't been revealed or is in Fog of War, the action will count for double. Since Fog of War settles when a zone hasn't been observed by any player for a full turn, you'll net the same XP by looking every turn or every other turn, but you'll save on actions. Of course, you might also miss something coming the zone on that off-turn.

    I'd be fine with 0beron's plan as long as a tannery is created there. Also we'd need to build a system of granarys or carts to get the food to those who need it.

    As an aside, since Cnor hasn't logged on since early May, and since we have a couple of new players to take her place, Katara will be heading back to the summoning stone next turn and unsummoning herself. If someone else wants to claim the staff, feel free to do so.

    Since I have a free wood gathering action, wouldn't gathering 4 wood leave me with a banked action?

    Okay, the attack on the quarry zone should happen next turn, so anybody who wants to be a part of it should came to the zone north of it this turn. Please carry in some wood and bacon as you enter. I need quite a few pieces this turn.

    Dod will wait until everyone else has acted, then try to place 10 pieces of wood into the southern road using normal and free-build actions.

    So... since the only rock that I could train on is having one resource left. And it seems that there is a bit of commotion to south of me, lets go there. And after politely asking if it is alright for me to get bite of the delicious bacon I will get one, while introducing myself to others. And that should leave me strong enouth to continue east to... B2 if I got the naming right?.

    So...
    1 action - move South to B1,
    Condition: (allowed) Free action - eat bacon.
    Free action ? - Gather 2 bacon to carry to B2 where Dod, Hyde and others are.
    3 actions? - move East to B2
    Condition: (not allowed to eat bacon) Starve. (may depend more on the OOG question about foraging?)


    That is if there is not something else, better, I can do.

    OOG - 1) I assume that I can train my mining skills only on stone gathering? 2) Only scouts can Forage for food even if there is no food source? If so, as I read the back log it did not seem to give them any scout XP even while it is their sklil, why so? Was it because they were foraging only as their free actions? (just curiosity question.)

    OOC This sparked a couple of questions from me.
    I'm assuming the ore resource in the home angle only gives ore to Miner 2 skilled players... does it give stone to non-miners (and Miner1 ) or is it just useless ?
    If I use forage as part of a general action does it feed me or do I also have to use eat ?

    The answers may affect my actions

    Your last action was to gather 4 wood, so that was your default action for this turn. Unless you declare otherwise, I assume players use regular actions before free actions, because free actions don't gain experience. If you want, you can declare that you gather 5 wood from now on (using all your normal and free actions), or you can declare that you will gather 4 wood and bank 1 action for the next turn, and gather 5 wood from then on, saving 1 banked action. You can't bank free actions.

    That's correct, at least until you get Sense Ore.

    Yes, Forage is a Scout skill, so only they can do so. Free actions never give XP.

    It gives stone. Miner 2+ can choose to gather either Stone or Ore from an Ore Resource; Miner 3+ can gather either Stone or Gems from a Gem resource.

    Forage always occurs as part of your free eat action.

    Guy will move south, ask Katara for the staff and ask for a bacon for the road. The Guy will use the remaining 3 actions to move and join the rest of the group east. Also Guy is not planning on eating this round (fasting to figure out the mystic benefit) The food will be for next round when/if we go south.
