    New Analysis of combat!

    It is a 5 or 6 that makes damage. While DRM's add directly to the result, making each worth roughly three of a stat. Also all stats of the stack are combined. The creature never was really a threat after all to a significant group. While a bit more complicated I can still perform sufficient mathamancy to calculate these odds.

    I'm not so sure Lamech. Defense seems to work that way but attack seems to be different.

    The Otisfang had 8 attack and got 5 wounds, rolling 5 4+'s. This would lead to a 4+ needed to wound

    The Otisfang on defense had 6, and blocked 3, rolling 3 5+'s and blocked 3 wounds. This means you need a 5+ to block.

    Unfortunetly, DRM's on attack don't seem to work that way.

    On defense, we got 6 5+'s. This plus the 8 DRM adds to the 14 wounds blocked. (direct add like you stated)

    Our attack though, we got 13 4+'s. That plus 8 would lead to 21 wounds inflicted. Was this a math error LTDave? I know we're checking you pretty fast here.

    DRM means "Die Roll Modifier".
    A DRM of +8 means you increase your dice rolls by up to 8 points - so 8 rolls of 3 can become 8 rolls of 4.

    I can't guarantee my maths is correct, but I think I'm pretty right.

    Attempt to sharpen the fang into a knife (using one of the rock/ore or the stones of the forge as something to sharpen against) if unable jog around hex(Train?)
    Gather One Berry and keep instead of adding to stock
    Tend Bush (if a bush needs tending, otherwise jog around hex(Train?)

    But there were only 4 rolls of 3 giving another 4 to the original 13 4+'s to make 17 it looks like 2 rolls of 2 were given +2's to to combat even though there was only 1 +2 DRM to combat for the 1 sword.

    Nevertheless it would have croaked on 15 wounds... I always had faith in you guys :lol:

    That wasn't what I meant. Your stacking bonus only gives you an extra attack.

    Is it just me, or have the last two people to level up not gotten any kind of stat increase?

    Do we have any precedent yet for making items out of presumably superior materials- metal axes or knives rather than stone ones, and so forth- to check if there's a superior result?
