Aaaand I forgot to post AA stats. :oops: #3. They're in that post with the other AA info now.

    Ok three things
    thing the first: you've listed my scouts as being in newcastle, i was under the impression BLAND ordered them into the field.
    thing the second: What level is Jenkins
    thing the third: Deus orders his archers and pikers back to newcastle

    thing the P.S.: i find it ommenous that the GM brings up AA when he controls the only flying unit currently in the game. :shock:

    Thing the first: I can't find that order, and I doubt BLAND did that - I can't see what it would accomplish.

    Thing the PS: But you guys can hire Lily! Are you going to or not though? :P Besides, just because you haven't seen any flying units doesn't mean they don't exist... :twisted:

    For the record I didn't order any units to move around. Changed some scouting, that's something else.

    So if anyone wants to secure their castle, do so within the next 48 hours please, let's keep this moving.

    Meanwhile. Can we afford Lilly at this time, as in, do we have enough pop points available?

    Miranda frowned slightly. Although she wasn't a Moneymancer, she didn't need to be one to answer Joan's question. "Unfortunately, we don't have quite enough pop points available this turn - only 352. However, we expect to earn another 3600 next turn, and we can easily arrange to get a 50 point advance on that for a 10% interest cost (it'll reduce next turns production by a total of 55)."

    To keep things moving, let's try and end this turn this weekend. :D

    I heartily agree.

    Then,

    a) everyone- you should move your starting troops as you see fit, I'm not touching those. With what you have available, defend your castle or reinforce an allied one,

    b) like Sir Tigger did. Since that left Castlenau a bit skimpy in the defense department,

    c) Joan hires Lilly, and orders her to Castlenau. Courtyard if possible, as long as Lilly's able to command the AA defenses in Castlenau. Interest expenses to be taken out of Joan's pop points next turn.****

    Make your defensive arrangements asap please.

    ****: there should have been one more convo in here, actually. It would go about how Lilly can be dismissed from service. So suppose Joan asked that, what would Lilly have said?

    Deus stacks with Leroys archers and Ex stacks with the pikers, i suggest Leroy stacks with Ex's stack.

    Charlescomm Contract of Employment:

    The Kingdom of Cameria (hereafter "CUSTOMER") hereby agrees to employ the Charlescomm forces detailed below (hereafter "FORCES") at the "premium" level of service for an indefinite period of time.

    Cost: CUSTOMER will pay a one-time fee of 400 pop points.
    Forces: Lily (lvl 6 Archon, LSFT)
    "Premium" Service: Seamless integration with existing command and control; access to powerful Archon specials; basic consultation on order of battle
    Penalty Clause: Should the FORCES be rendered unreturnable to Charlescomm in any way prior to the termination of the contract, a 30 000 pt penalty will be incurred.
    Termination: This contract may be terminated at any time by the CUSTOMER so long as the FORCES are not in imminent danger of croaking or incapacitation. Charlescomm reserves the right to terminate the contract and refund the CUSTOMER in full in the event of extraordinary, unforeseeable emergencies.


    CONGRATULATIONS! You've just hired Lily the Archon! She moves to Castlenau and stays in Courtyard, with standing orders to move to the Tower and command AA if needed.

    Ooh look at the time, way past noon GMT. Anyway, it appears as if our castles are defended to almost the best of our current ability- which is not much. But hey.

    Does the 3547 include the pop points we get for our cities? That is, do I have 200 pop points + whatever I'm allocated by BLAND?

    That 3547 is Cameria's city production in aggregate - it includes the 200 points that Outpost produced.

    So no, you only have whatever BLAND allocates. :P

    Yes, yes, don't worry. It will be sometime this week. Unlike some other orders I could mention *cough*.

    Anyway, allocations, right now:

    - Outpost, Castlenau, Newcastle: 900 each, seeing as how they are "border-close" and somewhat lightly defended now.
    - Neufchatel: 500. Important city, but lots of troops of our own nearby.
    - the remaining, 347, to Bailey, for though close to a border, it's supposed to be a safe one ... for now.

    I recommend some more scouts at Outpost, Newcastle and Castlenau.

    And I'll use this occasion to also pop a horse at Bailey. I'll see what else slightly later.
