    5.5 Diplomacy:

    - to the Suddewmen:

    "What you displayed was obvious aggression. Troops dispatched in our territory to thwart our movement, excessive force used to remove our protection against what was an obvious siege plan speak volumes about the intentions of the Suddewmen. We prefer however to not pursue aggressive action against the Suddewmen. Leave our territories."

    - to the Escotians:

    "We hold your kind of opportunists in lowest contempt. Let then be war."

    6. Resolve combat.

    At C8: random seed 5255. Suddewmen Infantry (or cavalry, whatever) croaks 1 Woman infantry. Woman Infatry croaks 1 Suddewmen infantry (or cavalry, whatever). Now, the spreadsheet lists the attacker as the winner, even though hits inflicted are the same. I'll go with the spreadsheet and have the 3 remaining infantry stay put at C8 (there aren't suddewmen left there anyway).

    At N7: random seed 5213. Escotians croak 3 Infantry. Womans croak 4 Escotian infantry. Attacker wins, Escotians retreat to Arsenia.

    7. End turn report.

    BLANDCorporatio,

    Blastoise, Escotia and Encom have still not taken turn 6. Since you are taking turn 8 you must first:

    The Player acting next in the sequence must make a report for the absent player. No Schmuckers are generated, and no upkeep costs are paid. All Cities pop the maximum amount of Infantry. No units may move or attack. No Characters may perform any actions.

    Also: Defender wins on a tie. Seems to be a fault in the EESpreadsheet.

    Aye - and BLAND just went and took out part of my expeditionary force. :(

    So... what's happened to Blastoise and ENCOM? I'd prefer not to drop a third of the players...

    I could play as one of them, but I wouldn't do that unless they asked me. I can post an autopilot turn for ENCOM and Blastoise, though.
    (No one's attacked Blastoise, right?)

    Bleh... that just might make them impregnable... I don't think anyone has the army to crack those defenses... Has this autopilot thing been used before to this degree?

    Those on autopilot would only get one turn. They will get their one turn before I take my next turn, which will be in a few hours.

    Incidentally, I think BLAND has moved 24 hours early - you have to wait six full days - unless I can't count.

    My last turn was on the 20th of August. Had I posted my current turn on the 21st, it would have meant that I waited 1 day. However, I posted it on the 26th, meaning I waited 6 days before doing so. Also check the hours of the posts, it should be something like 6days +1 or 2 hours.

    The Suddewmen, unable to find easy victories against the Womans, turn their treacherous and treasonous attentions to the Commonwealth of Escotia.

    The postings made by Nihila above for Blastoise and ENCOM are correct for the turn 6 post. Please note, Blastoise and ENCOM, that you have missed your chance to have a turn. You will need to wait now until Escotia and Nawnia have their turn, since your turn happened (or should have happened) before the Womans.

    In the combat between the Womans and Escotia in N7, I calculate the Womans did 4 hits, not 3. I'm not sure why the spreadsheet would say 3. I've retreated the remaining Escotian Infantry and Warlord to the neighbouring city.

    Should I wait to post my Turn 7? We have people already at Turn 8, so... yeah. Also I understand everyone taking turn 7 because I hadn't posted my turn 6 withint he 6 day period, but should LTDave's Turn 8 wait until 6 days after that last eprson to post their turn 7?
