I speak to the White side. Also, my scouts just spotted a light blue scout traveling along a desert road. My scout has redirected course to avoid conflict, who will claim that unit? We can arrangement a meeting after I have completed diplomatic dealing with out current neighbor.

One of our scouts is on the side of a road with cactus on one side, though we do not know for sure how many tiles of cacti there are, and mountainous terrain on the other. We are aware of a light blue scout.
Our unit did not start or end turn on the cactus

Whedawall sends diplomatic greetings to the light blue side.

[Book] The Mogul is proud that his scouts have reached the sights of his companions! I wish to rid our eyes of darkness and foster brotherhood! To this end, I welcome my friend in White (Would that be you, curious Whedawall? Or perhaps friendly Jimmeny?) to send a Journalist to meet my own, Anchor Smiles! Sadly, we are still grasping in the darkness, but you may find him by sending your proxy to a city south-east of the unit that spotted my scout! Just a few hexes over, by a road through dunes and sand. His wish is to spread knowledge and friendship with his dazzling grin!

Any others who have sighted the wandering watchers of my winsome countenance are welcome to direct me to a rendezvous with their own nearby Journalists in the search for enlightened communication![/Book]

To Lord Ronald the Sour of Savage

In accordance with our previous discussion, we are dispatching a warlord to parley with you this turn. We ask that he be allowed to approach your city of Panag directly, to avoid ending turn out in the open.

    Lady Janis,

My representative was forces to end turn in the field and this is not currently present at Panag to entertain you. I would advise against entering the city this turn as my garrison will be forced to engage. End turn adjacent to the city and we can parley during Savage's turn.

Does your representative have access to a flying mount? We would welcome a meeting over a water hex, to keep our units out of reach of potential aggressors. Would the water hex 3 hexes north of your city of Panag suit you?

Good friend Mogul, it makes me pleased to put a side to the scout we spotted. If you would like to send a Warlord to our capitol to speak with me on conditions of an alliance we can forward those to Whedawall. Your scout ended in a hex xx.x3 by my reckoning, out capitol side is just 4 hexes north of there. I will welcome your warlord and any escort of 6 units he wishes to bring, to avoid meeting in the field incase others from the east happen upon our men. We can promise you a grand show.

    Lady Janis,
What do you fear so? Wandering monsters? I can vouch that no harm will come to you while in my domain, which currently encompasses all hexes adjacent to Panag, but I will not send my Warlady alone to meet an unknown number of your fliers. There is a cactus hex southwest of Panag. My representative will pass through there on her way back to Panag. If you wish to meet and parley there, that would be most agreeable. If you have so much fear, you may visit Panag next turn and meet with Savage then.

We mean no treachery. If you will recall, Underempire already has one of our warlords in their dungeons. We do not wish to add to their collection.
If you will vouch for his safety, however, we will trust you in this matter. The cactus hex is acceptable.

Additionally, we would ask that you not move your westmost scout any further west until we have spoken.

Whedawall sees you. We would like to discuss diplomatic matters, but our leadership is otherwise engaged currently. We will be meeting soon with one of our neighbors, Orange Jimmeny, and we will be willing to meet afterwards with you in an agreed upon safe local.

The Mogul watched the text appearing in the book before him. He was focused now, becoming less and less afraid by the moment. These surviving sides appeared eager to negotiate, and he was certain that they would accept his place among them. He had ceased to leave his makeshift throne (he really ought to put a proper throne in, but Schmuckers were tight; what little he had were crucial for implementing his newest idea), preferring to work on his understanding of the world around him. There was a grave threat to the west, and he had somehow become the buffer! It was exciting! (Still terrifying!)

[Book]The Mogul is pleased with this offer. One of my Anchors should arrive alone at your Capitol promptly to discuss a harmonious exchange of information! There are several matters of great importance to shed light upon.[/Book]

To Overlord Jimmeny Henderson of Moppits,

While an expanse of desert divides our empires, it seems we are neighbors nonetheless. We have caught sight of two of your units, and have had vision of a hunting site of yours for some time now. It seems wise to negotiate now, so that we may avoid hostilities later. Are your representatives available next turn? The hunting site we have vision of lies on a road, just 5 hexes west of the city of Unmentionable. We would be willing to meet you at that site under a flag of truce, on our turn. You are welcome to bring as many units as you like, as long as our representative has safe conduct.

Additionally, we have spotted two of your units to the north of your hunting site, a few hexes apart. They are presumably scouts. We would ask that they not push further east until we have negotiated, lest they encroach on our territory.

You likely speak of our scouts, who are trying to get a better understanding of our surrounding lands.

I am currently staying in in our capitol city while my Warlord is going to meet with an ally of mine. If you wish to speak with me, my capitol is up the road, 4 hexes NW of the site. We are planning on holding a grand show and feast for a representative from the Mongul. It seems we are surrounded on all sides by three sides and are willing to be the negotiating point for all of our sides.

I address Janis Tassadar, the Mogul, and Charl E. Main witht eh following: IF each of you are interested in sending leadership to our capitol, which all of you should be able to locate, I can hold a grand ball in our Theatre and all four of our sides can negotiate together to form a powerful alliance. I will withdraw my scouts on the next turn to avoid encroaching any further into other territories. Send a leadership with an escort within the next 3 turns to our capitol, we'll hold a party!

    Jimmeny Henderson of the Moppits.

To Jimmeny Henderson of the Moppits,
we gladly accept your invitation. We will attend with a party of 3, arriving next turn, or the turn after that.

    To the Mogul of Voyera,
we look forwards to making your side's acquaintance. We hope that despite the distance between us, we will be fast friends.

To Charl E. Main of Underempire,
if you deign to attend, we will meet you and we will treat with you. Your units approaching, leaving and attending are safe from us. But we haven't forgotten what you took from us.

We feel this conference is one of great significance, and are eager to participate. May the Titans allow us to treat undisturbed.
