FIRST!
Also, great change of mood lighting between scenes. Also great how the transylvitans maintain their hip lingo even as the grim feel of rebellion thickens.

Seems Caesar's revolution has finally started... Pretty cool and fatalistic attitude of Parson in any case. And I'm curious how plotamancy will prevent him from ending FAQ.

I'm loving the look on Caesar's face in the second last panel.

I'm joyful for the new update, but the suspense is killing me! I *so* want to see a fat man run a hundred yard dash in a suit of armor! In other news, the art continues to amaze; the whole Transylvito side looks stylish and ethereal yet potent.
Edit: Spent 90 seconds checking the spelling of "Transylvito" and went from a gleeful first post to fourth. You people are amazing (and apparently omnipresent).

Lord Hamster seems prepared to die.

Parson you magnificent bastard, I'm reading your book!
Or I would be if I wasn't such a stickler for the postal fee
So Slately isn't getting the gem? Hmmm ... the plot thickens.

Looks like we're about to find out how an Erfworld rebellion works. One thing to note is that eight of Transylvito's remaining nineteen warlords are at the party. If Don does decide to go on a disbanding spree, Transylvito is probably doomed in any case: they have no money and they were using warlords for both city management and diplomacy.

So....I wonder how Caesar would respond if Don King announced that he felt Bunny was causing this new found boldness in the chief warlord, and that, as ruler, he was beginning to feel the need to disband her in order to bring him back in line.....
Do you think Caesar would sacrifice her for "the good of the side"? or the cost of the gem DK wants? An interesting question.....

But isn't Bunny a caster, too? (thinkamancer, I think) Ceasar thought he wouldn't disband a caster...

I wonder how a Caesar lead side would function...
Would they still interact with goblin knob?

Omigod, Rob! Enough with the teasing! There's only so much Margaret Thatcher, naked on a cold day that a guy can put up with!

Thing is, though, one way or another the rebellion will happen, regardless of whether or not Don calls Caesar's bluff. The other warlords are backing him on this one and it's unlikely that Don will disband all of them (presumably they are in the situation room because they are the top level warlords TV has). Bunny is not going to be leverage for all of them, so even if Don disbands Caesar or Bunny he's going to still have to deal with all of the other unhappy warlords under his command.
That said, disbanding the whole lot of them could save them some schmuckers in upkeep, but would it be enough for Don to have his way? Probably not.

I've always assumed that for game balancing reasons, high level units pack more punch-per-upkeep than low level ones - if upkeep goes up with level at all, that is. So no, that probably wouldn't help the upkeep issue much. They'd likely lose more on overall effective force than if the Don had disbanded any other bunch of troops for upkeep.

BTW, loving how the FAQ units' livery makes them look like cabin crew.

Parson seems nervous. This is the first time he's going into battle by choice. Up till now, the fight has always come to him.
Does Gobwin Knob have a force that could "hunt her down?" Jillian is tough, Stanley is probably the only GK unit that can go toe to toe with her.

Insight into the dynamics of rebellion. Finally!
Don might be able to defeat it by rethoric (he is a more imposing characther then Caesar), but otherwise it is going to be very interesting to see how the speculations match the rules. I do not think it will be resolved by crass blackmail, the situation has deteriorated to far.
And I love the little details like the miniature dragons. And note that the Atrium lacks a roof.

GK has dwagons - but we don't know how many are available at Stanley. The position of Jetstone, Progrock, FAQ and the other GK-cities are known So they could estimate the course of Jillians's party, and plan an ambush or something. How strong are dwagons vs. megalogwiffs ? We might get an answer 'soon', as in 'next book'
