I was really worried Buck was gonna croak Janis this page. Glad I was wrong.

Will Wanda go to I'm coming for you Stanley then? Unlucky for them that Wanda's watching. Or perhaps, intended?

So, Phil is taking them on a game of Whack-a-mole? Maybe they can try a Snipe Hunt next...

It would be interesting, but if that's the case, then what's the predictamancers' end game here? Protecting one of their own at possibly great cost? Simply making sure Parson continues down his road? What?

Woah, just in time for me to read while eating dinner. I love a nice meaty text update. They're as fulfilling as comic pages for me.

Knowing exactly where Wanda will pop up next is not very useful.

Knowing roughly where and roughly when would be much better.

Considering Ivan doesn't have juice to tunnel through bedrock again this turn, Philip is definitely leading them on a wild goose chase. Janis did well enough to delay, but that predictamancer will probably get to postpone the execution even longer.

Only three guards vs. three casters? And one of those is Wanda Firebaugh? And they can repatriate Archons and a high level Warlady? Those sound like Transylvito numbers!

If Buck truly broke a Signamancy contract as Janie the Master Signamancer said he did, what's the penalty?

I also find it interesting that Janis lied at least a little bit in front of Roger the Eyemancer. She didn't lie much; she phrased her words in such a way that most of what she said was true. But Eyemancers have been shown to be very good at reading body language and facial expression.
So I wonder how much Roger learned from observing Janis.

Also, it's good to finally know Phil's full name: Philip Roffercy. Though I have no clue what the surname signifies.

The neat thing about this update is that Janis is keeping the MK in line by making them follow their own rules. That was the substance of this update: 10 things to worry about, but you can't do anything about 'em because you've got rules to follow.

Meanwhile, Parson, Wanda, and our favorite kipi-rigging caster duo are breaking the rules left and right.

Love how Janis dealt with Buck, made it about more than prisoners or their rights, instead, she made it about the freedom of the casters themselves.

I'm kinda suspicious that the groundhog man is going to do exactly what he said he would, take them where Wanda will pop up next, with full knowledge it will do them no good (and possibly lot of harm) in stopping her or GK.

Wanda is going to rescue Lillith. It is going to be a trainwreck for every caster there.

Not much, I suspect. Janis is a Master Signamancer and is probably very adept at controlling what signals she gives off. She did manage to smuggle the Pliers past him before after all...

Exactly. The delay is guaranteed, especially since he didn't specify 'when'.

Actually, that means he could be telling the truth, but Wanda won't go through the portal for a few days.

And there could be other people who come through before Wanda goes in.

    A wild goose chase indeed!

I wonder if it's a deliberate choice that the update has the caption One Miss Hippie, Two Miss Hippie.

Shouldn't it be One Mrs Hippie, Two Mrs Hippie? It would be closer to the original.

If it really is meant to be Miss Hippie and not Mrs Hippie, then I wonder why.

Phili PRoffercy. It must be some kind of english joke, such as Filly Prophecy or Silly Proffecy or whatever.

Edit: Not being an english speaker myself, I always have problems with this erfworld-jokes.

Oh god, haha, Philip could lead them right to the Spacerock portal, if that's where Wanda will pop out next, and he leads them right into a firing squad of Jugglelves. And Gobwin Knob collects a few more guns. Pffffft.

No, Wanda isn't going to her own portal... she'll be coming out of it.

And so the predictamancer both tells the jurors the truth and gets all of them killed. It works no matter which side he's on.
