Well done, Ansom. Well done. I hope it will actually matter in the end, and that he isn't casually wiped off the map by the RCC2 forces.

Awesome! The picture of Ansom mounted on the Spidew is really good, and it's good to see that he's really a good tactical mind. I wonder what will happen?

I saw the picture of determined Ansom on the Spidew with the soundtrack of Beowulf playing on winamp... Epic... I hope the uncroaked give the coalition a run for their money.

Well done Ansom indeed. He's no Parson, but he's no idiot either and is a pretty good commander in his own right.

I'm looking forward to the inevitable showdown between Ansom and Jillian. With this setup, there's no way the fight can end without it.

So I assume next page is where it begins? After seeing Sammy's forces, Ansom's group appears quite outmatched.

It warms my heart to finally see a thread where fans cheer for Ansom.

I had the soundtrack of "the Green Mile" playing. I guess that's why I see a certain melancholy in the picture.

by the way, am I the only one who thinks Xin likes to draw Ansom? I actually prefer her version to Jamie's now.

(And we finally got the insight into Ansom's thoughts we expected for so long)

    Nice update.

Good to see his self-proclaimed "one of the finest tactical minds" is backed up by firsthand thinking instead of just being noted by another character.

(Though I still hope he turns to dust if Jillian succeeds in turning him)

Yes, I thought that as well.

Glad to see the spidews still in use! Also, the forest capable Ford ranger was a nice touch. ;) It makes me wonder if he was one of the woodsey elves.

I was going to say the same thing. Ansom lookin' pretty bad-ass on that spidew. Good job Xin!

it makes me sad inside, but I don't think Ansom has a chance. He's got one hex of units facing down 6 hexes of Haggar, then Jetstone and Faq. It looks as if the RCC must have 7 times the forces.

6 hexes of mostly rank and file infantry, Vs. Ansom's and Wanda's (Reduced Because out of Hex) Bonus who can't all attack across the bridge at once

What I'm expecting - One side or the other will make this a Dance Fight, Probably Haggar playing Van Halen. Not Sure If Rocky Horror 'Time Warp' is a good Idea at this kind seeing as we've just had one. (Just realized that! the turn end spell was a Time Warp )
I actually expect Ansom to Beat Sammy in a Dance Fight! even on even ground.

Nobody's Said How much they like the Twolls, so I love the Twolls, even if they are so Dang ugly

300 didn't have game rules. Ansom's group does appear to be outnumbered doesn't it?

    But that's additive.

    Here's a possible prediction.

Sammy fights Ansom. Sammy gets beat, both sides take heavy casualties. Tremennis says "OK, this army isn't a threat to us. I'm going to take no risks - don't want a lucky arrow croaking a caster. I'm retreating to Spacerock. Jillian, you can take it from here, your forces alone are sufficient for mop-up."

Jillian goes in, decides to Parley, because she wants to turn Ansom. We the audience go "haven't we just seen that with Wanda/Jill???"

Then something happens, but I have no idea what; I'm going to guess nothing to do with caster links this time, though.

I have given Ansom far to little credit for far too long. I was really happy to see him in this text update. I hope he proves his reputation as Erfworlds best warlord (sans Parson of course) and completely curbstomps Sammy.

Then I hope he get's captured and turned by Jillian... but don't actually expect that to happen.

Jillian really messes with her exes heads.
If Ansom gets distracted from directing the battle to take a chance at 'saving' Jillian for redemption as a decrypt things could go bad very quickly.

Great image - Ansom's chin appears to get bigger the more grimly determined he is.
