I cannot stomach Jillian updates, but at least she loses something in this one.

Poor, poor Duncan.

I know, but the signs were there. It was inevitable that Duncan Pastry would have a large hole blown through him. Just like his battle buddies, Horton and Winchell.

This is my fear as well. Names tell fortunes on Erfworld, and Caesar is a pretty ominous one.

Except his full name, Caesar Borgata, is closer to Cesare Borgia than to Julius Caesar.

Not that the former's eventual fate was much better.

    Duncan's last name is Scone.

More a type of cake than a pastry, I'd say. Or is this an American-ism thingy?

It's not "an American-ism thingy," no. However, thinking on it, it does kinda straddle (strudel?) the line between pastry and cake, and I suppose the NA varieties are the ones that tend to lean more toward the pastry side. So...I guess maybe? I dunno man. Scones are weird in general.

That update is the source of the image but where is it stated that the woman holding the pliers is Wanda herself ? (she already appears once in the image)

It's quite clearly her, lording over her army of decrypted. Read the update, who else would be holding the pliers in the context of what's going on?

Alright, now you're just being silly. It's not a redhead; the whole area is tinted red in the image, distorted from its natural colors. Looking at the less color distorted portions of the figure, she has black hair. Like Wanda. And blue eyes. Also like Wanda. And is wielding the pliers, also like Wanda. You know who else has black hair, blue eyes, and wields the pliers like Wanda? Wanda. That's who.

I didn't suggest one of the "big bore" AR chamberings for the simple reason that I don't like how they limit the magazine capacity. .458 SOCOM is a big boy but you only get 10 or so rounds in a standard capacity magazine. .338 Whisper #2 on the other hand uses .223/5.56 brass and keeps the total round count up at 30. I like and make 300BLK but that is slightly bottlenecked and doesn't work for the art. :)

    Here is a comparison if .223, 300BLK, .338 Whisper#2,.458 SOCOM

I'd tend to say that it's a representation of Wanda's "Mistress" persona rather than a portrayal of Wanda herself...and that Wanda is highly aware of the distinction.

It's no accident that her visualization of the "Mistress" persona has elements suggestive of archons either, the original image source update comes not long after Wanda reveals that having archons has special significance for her.

P.S. the ejected casing doesn't have a rim, which suggests some Spookism rather than mechanical means of extraction but also precludes a lot of connection to conventional firearms...the thing could be a G11 that spits out something like a casing because that's what Charlie's seen on extra-universe TV.

At the risk of being that guy who explains the jokes, I referred to him as Duncan Pastry so that one could make the connection with a pastry with a hole through it. But now that Duncan's a donut, I'm stuck with a half-baked joke unless he gets decrypted after three turns as Chris T. Cream. Also, since I ran out of pithy remarks, here's my favorite donut song.
