Rereading the Belgariad and the Malloreon, by Leigh (who passed away in 2007) and David Eddings (who passed away this morning).

I finished reading Xenocide by Orson Scott Card the other day. Now I don't feel like reading anything until I get Children of the Mind. O_o

Just finished the Eisenhorn trilogy. Good pulp sci-fi. Possibly the only worthwhile 40K fiction.

No no no no. It's fantastic, yes, but there's a lot of good books in the Black library.
Gaunt's Ghosts, Space Wolves, the Horus Heresy opening trilogy, Flight of the Eisenstein, Legion, Storm of Iron, Grey Knights... it's not a short list. ...Well, short, compared to the list of crappy 40K books, but still.

Just finished Timothy Zahn's Odd Girl Out, latest in the series started by Night Train to Rigel. Most excelent books, all of them.

Thats the trouble with 40k/warhammer books. Its a 3 to 1 chaff to wheat ratio.

Anyway, Here's my current reading list for June/July:

    Dune (first 4 are outstanding)

Guardian of the Flame by Joel Rosenberg

The Elenium by David Eddings (and probably Leigh to be fair)

The Black Company by Glen Cook (especially suggested if you enjoy your fantasy with a bit of military fiction)

The Soul Forge and Brothers In Arms by Margaret Weis and Don Perrin

    Non-Fiction:

The New Encyclopedia of Modern Body Building by Arnold Schwarzenegger

    Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell

My Life Outside the Ring by Hulk Hogan

Books off the top of my head that I've read recently (or really like):

    Anything by Timothy Zahn

S.M. Stirlings' Dies the Fire and the books that follow

    All of Jim Butcher's works

    Stonefather by Orson Scott Card

    John Ringo's Kildar Series

    L.E. Modesitt Jr.'s Imager

George RR Martin's Wild Cards series

Books I really want to read when they come out:

    Orson Scott Card's Mithermages

George RR Martin's A Dance with Dragons (which feels like it might never make it out)

    Definitely David Brin's Uplift books.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned Iain Banks' Culture series.

    Asimov's Foundation, of course.

Turtledove is tolerable fluff (at least that's my opinion of the first two books of his Worldwar series)

Another vote for Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser!

Finally, I want to plug the great Sector General series by James White.

There's so many fantasy series out there...
