So hey! I am TheMutant, Mute for short. Or, on the Erfworld IRC (which you should come chat on), I'm probably better known as 'that guy that won't shut up about their weird art and hemorrhages WIPs all over the IRC when they're in a mood'. I love Erfworld, therefore I draw. Virtually everything in this thread, unless I mention otherwise, was drawn straight onto the computer- no scanning or traditional media involved. The tools of my trade are Photoshop CS3, occasionally Painter and my Intuos3 tablet which I love dearly.

All my fanart can also be found in the Erflings gallery on DeviantArt- feel free to check it out and contribute your own fanworks!

I love comments and criticism! Come at me, bro. Also, feel free to ask questions! If I get enough, maybe I'll add a little 'FAQ (but not the side)' section in this post. ;P

Haha, it's a touch on the rough side (though I'm very happy with the lightning), buy yay. dwagon. Perhaps I will do more of the colors.

Drawn with a tablet into Photoshop. I painted the lightning myself as well, it's no combo of filters or what have you.

Excellent. I love the shading and the general "atmospherics," if you will.

Haha, awesome! Love the background texturing.
Mr. Blue looks like he just woke up. He is in need of coffee, and killing.

That is a nice Dwagon! I like the confidence the dwagon has among the lightning. Just the way a blue one should be.

I also drew a dwagon (for my avatar). And I saw this thread, so I decided to post it. Hope that's ok... :?

    Spoiler: show
    Image

The dwagon was hand drawn (on the computer with a mouse), but I photoshopped the background.

Edit: put into a spoiler so as not to detract from Mutant's artwork as much.

    MOAR.

As before, done entirely in Photoshop, a bit rough. Hope it is enjoyable though.

    All these are terrific.

Is that a throne or a volcanic cone behind the red one?

TheMutant, now I'm no aesthete, but I love the lighting and color in your two drawings here. (I really wish I had some artistic talent) you have anything else? :D

Those are some lovely Dwagons. My only gripe is that they both look a bit... pudgy I guess. I just see Dwagons being slightly sleeker. Maybe these two are just a bit lazy. :P

I dunno, most of them seem fairly plump :D with round faces and little wings.

Just look at the ones on this page!

Only slightly sleeker! I think it might just be that the necks are a little bit shorter on these than the ones in the comic. That's all I'm thinking.

Special treat this time. :B I did two pink dwagon sketches, planning to use only one- but someone suggested I use both, so I mashed them together and here you go! (The 'official' one for purposes of my pretentious color series is here, being of the correct size and possessing only one dwagon in its frame.)

That's lovely. Good choice of pink dwagons. I don't want to see that picture with yellow ones...
