Wanda can err, decrypt people now, not merely uncroak. What theme would fit there instead of the skulls?

Just a thought.

It's ugly as sin, and it has no shading, but I'm sure it gives you an idea of my idea.

might go and have a look at drawing wanda so i can have a crack at this
edit: actually no i'm not good enough to imitate other peoples drawing styles, all i managed was a warped wanda, and an alien lifeform. i'll sit this one out

I love the simplistic style, it's exactly how I see her in one of her less flashy moments.

It'd probably be a bit less simplistic if it had shading, but thanks. I'll take the compliment.

Somebody on the previous page did that for us, we just need to add the costume. That might help you.

Heck, I suck at drawing, and I got a compliment. :)

    Hear, Hear!

Copying an artist style can take a lifetime. Jamie's style looks simple, but is very hard to reproduce. That is the first thing that really drew my attention to Erf World is how beautiful the art is.

The paper doll is nothing more than a tool (heh). No one should be afraid to submit just because it isn't in "style". In fact I think the more rich and varied the submissions the more that the creator will have to draw inspiration from.

New one; just as shadingless, and even simpler.

    Pirate Wanda?

Yeah I cribbed a bit, but what a great fusions of characters! Not exactly a 70's pop culture reference, but I'm kinda surprised I had not heard this one yet!

Well, here's my first idle thought.
Too namesake-y? Too much lawsuit bait? Too obvious to work? probably all true.

    But still.

Well, she seemed to have a flying problem during siege fight with Ansom, so we better correct it. She may had killed some dragon, ripped his wings off and "decrypted" them separately to make a nice armorpiece.

    Image

Also it's more advantage in fight, beware the flying casters!

Don't worry about trying to copy my style for your costume sketches. I'd rather see your own interpretations of Wanda. More fun that way. Love what I'm seeing so far. Wanda's going to have a great closet to choose from in Book 2!

I'd like to see a simle, formal evening gown at some point. Since diplomacy may come up at some point, it may be necessary to dress snazzy for the discussion. Bonus points in Parson has to go too and there's a dance. Seeing Parson try to dance with someone about 1/3 his size would be hilarious.

    Elegant Gothic Lolita - Wanda

At something absurd like a peace treaty signing or something where the royals are all dressed up for the occaision.

    Image

ps - I can't draw worth beans , so I created this image at http://www.thedollpalace.com to demonstrate what I'm talking about. This image doesn't come with the mandatory skull hairpiece, but you get the drift.

Thought I'd give designing a Wanda costume a shot.

    Image

Just a design I was tossing about. The cloth tails in the back attach to the collar I suppose. Also, I imagined her hair in a ponytail, but I didn't make it visible.
It probably would have been better if I hadn't done it in MSPaint with a mouse. ;)

    Two More:

Wanda Bell: No practical use, but it was fun to draw! I still don't think Wanda would be crazy happy as a faerie... I don't know, maybe there are faeries of the dead?
