Hey Drachefly, my quatloo total is wrong. Sure, I lost 50q, but it has since been December and January, so I should have 20 more. I should have -30q, not -50.

That was almost a win for me. Xin *could* have been sane and taken the holidays off! grumble brumble grumble.

We don't earn quatloo per month. We just get a higher quatloo credit limit. That way, if you are sitting at -100, after a month your credit limit goes to -110Q, and you can make a 10Q bet to try to dig yourself out of your hole.

10Q says that sometime in Book 0, Wanda will try to uncroak a caster and find out the hard way that they can no longer cast.

I'll take that. If it turns out to be Olive that she tries this on, it will be quatloo well spent.

I'm feeling bored and a bit like an advocate for evil deities galore...so let's spice things up some.

4Q to anyone else's 1 that Ace does not outlive Slately 2.0.

You'd better offer short odds on that, I fear. Unless you count 'already dead' as a loss.

I offer 5q that Sylvia croaks this battle.

I'll take that. She's got Fate armour and a huge crush on Parson as an instrument of Fate.

MarbitChow bet 1q to Nnelg's 4q that Decrypted Slately croaks Clone Slately.

Slately's remains were destroyed to prevent decryption so I believe that one is settled?
Clonely is still standing but seems like his demise won't come from that.

We aren't 100% sure that they actually got around to destroying Slately's remains. It does seem very very likey, yes.

5q says that Olive Branch dies before Judy does. 5q more says that Judy does not die by Jillian's hand. 1:2 odds on the second one.

I offer my 10q to your 15q that Olive is trying to set up Banhammer as overlord of Haffaton in lieu of Judy.

Does this not count as sufficient?

He said do it quickly to Ace, and the next thing we see Ace do is completely different.

He was indeed rather preoccupied and may have dashed off without striking a match. Still, the remains of Slately MkI are outside of the garrison, beyond Gobwin Knob's reach. For Slately MkIII to kill Slately MkII, Gobwin Knob would have to first capture the City intact and Mk II alive, have Wanda Decrypt the remains of the MkI and then order the resulting MkIII to execute the MkII.

Possible I'd say, but only remotely so, or just barely if you prefer.

It'll become perfectly clear soon enough.

I'll take both of these, if it's not too late.

This one may still be valid. Ace just keeps hanging on. We thought he was likely dead in 100, but he's only burned and incapacitated in 101.

I'll bet a single quatloo that Wanda will become Chief Caster of a Side other than Gobwin Knob during Book Zero.

Easy quatloo. I accept.

In that case, is it alright if we make it two? Winning two would keep my quatloo count at a nice round number if, as seems quite likely at this point, I lose one of my bets with drachefly. I like round numbers. :)
