Came up in the reaction thread. Decided to put it here. You have a name and a blank check. Have fun with it.

Awh man, I know the perfect name for a character in that tribe "Guy Sinner".

Those in the tribe that perform combat rolls are called "Not-Z Fighters". Their most powerful of which are able to transform into a state of being Ansom Look-alikes.

Amongst their artifacts is a legendary spear (of destiny) named "Albert". Said spear was discovered by their king Kai Weisinger*. Such spear was previously hidden by philosopher and Caster's apprentice: Goat The, or Gothe for short.
Gothe spent his younger days hanging out with feral dogs. It was because of that affinity, and the tail that he had been popped with, that he earned the name "Wolfgang".

*(Not sure if I should have gone with the actor's name for the character's base. While I feel good making a pun out of King Kai/Kai Weisinger, I still feel like Eik Meiers has cross-over potential with Mike Myers).

Amongst the Not-Z's poppable mounts are Wabbites. Which are like Rabbites but instead of being rabbit-like but with no feat, Wabbites are rabbit-like with no ears.

edit: Actually, actually Wabbites aren't poppable. They're cloth golems made my Dollamancer Tony Piccolo, who cleans carpets when he's not gangstering.

I was thinking much more simply.

    Basic special unit: Stormtrooper, a Shockamancy-enhanced archer(crossbow)

    Mounts for light units: Panthers
    Heavy mounts: Tigers

Yeah, that's a lot more simple and therefor probable.

Pantser. A heavy unit that specialises in removing the trousers of other units.

Even if there's no mechanism currently to make it possible, id like them to be able to make temporary storm hexes, utilizing the shockamancy in "lightning warfare" and having stormtroopers that have bonuses in storm hexes.

For a possibly difficult to pull off twist, you could have them hate casters and attempt to exterminate all weilders of juice.

So that would tie into the Shockamancy. Let's make this a Naughtymancy side, with a master Shockamancer and a master Croakamancer named Henry High (a rough translation)

Then we've got a leader that scours Erf looking for mythical Retconjuration relics.

Now that you mention shockmancy, the Not-Z's are known for their Blitzkriegs. Although I probably should have made a pun out of "Blitzkrieg", but it is 2:AM here.

Guy Sinner does sound like a naughty name (although he could equally become a signamancer if transformed into Guy Signer)

Just throwing it out there: Making light of a pretty awful group of people, especially now when that ideology is starting to make a comeback, is not the most considerate thing to do. Making the (fan)Erfworld version of these people could be seen as insensitive.

I don't expect anyone to listen, or to stop, but I just wanted to throw it out there.

Don't be a party pooper. The Z Warriors weren't that bad people.

And the Not-Zeds are completely unrelated to whatever you're thinking of. Why else would they have the word "Not" in their tribename?

Okay, I get where you're coming from. To make light of suffering and those who suffer is extremely inconsiderate. Such people need help, not scorn. However, poking fun at those who cause the suffering? That's another issue entirely.

Those who cement their power at the expense of others thrive on the suffering and terror their actions inflict on others. They tear down and expect that to actually create something. It's an absolutely absurd mindset when you stop and really think about it, and one worthy of ridicule. And in ridiculing these kinds of people, the overall terror and suffering they are capable of spreading is reduced. They cause enough suffering in their direct actions, and in giving into terror we allow them to cause even more indirectly. In pointing out their absurdity, we strip them of their ability to cause indirect suffering. As such, I feel it is not only our right to poke fun at such groups of people, but our solemn comedic Duty to do so.

Am I worried about the resurgence of intolerant mindsets? You bet I am. I'm part of a group that will eventually be on the chopping block if such attitudes continue. My group's not on the front lines to be sure, but I have no illusions that we're not on the list. Every right that gets revoked or trampled on is one step closer to someone being able to decide that I and others like me belong in an asylum and given lobotomies rather than be integrated into society like current trends show is entirely feasible. But I can either curl into a ball and despair, or I can laugh at the sheer idiocy of these intolerant people. I choose to laugh.

I appreciate that this is the angle that you're coming from.

Honestly, it's happened way too many times that I've found a fun place on the internet, joined a conversation, and then a little later found out they were neo-Nazis/white-supremacists/death-to-the-infidels/etc.

Just making sure that this conversation wasn't rooted in "Hey, do you know who were awesome? Those Nazis. Those fellas really knew how to throw a parade." Because for some reason that is a legitimate worry now.

Now that this is out of the way, please continue your fun.

I don't expect anyone to listen, or to stop, but I just wanted to throw it out there.

I was thinking of them as villains. Real villains, not just "misunderstood". The German National Socialist Party in operation in the middle of the 20th Century makes great villians.

If we take a look at the sides that are considered villains in story, we have some clear examples of villiany and not-villiany.

Considerin the nature of Erfworld, every nation is at war with every other nation. There are alliances, and some last longer than others, but from a Erfworld Realpolitik viewpoint, what TV did to Faq is considered "acceptable". Wrong, but acceptable. Faq should not have made that possible.

All the opponents in the backer stories are merely antagonists, not villians. Sure, there's treachery and a domineering parent side, but their actions are reasonable within the context of Erfworld.

The villians of book 0 use mind control through drug addiction. Charley has extended Loyalty to mind control by gaming the Loyalty modifiers. When Gobwin Knob is presented as villians, it's due to mind control. The Erfworlders may have less free will than we do, but they love what they have.

With as morally gray a world as Erfworld is, there need to be some really dark spots and some really light spots. The Not-Z Tribe can fumction as a dark spot.

If you wamt to add constructively, rather than making statements about trivializing evil ask leading questions ensuring the rest of us are not.

The first question I think of is:
    "Who are they fighting?"

    And the second is:
"Ummm, you're not talking about these guys as possible heroes are you? I mean look at where it's coming from."

Edit: or just phrase it the way you did in your next post, that works well too.

That's cool. Nice to know we can come to a mutual understanding without having to wade through a massive recursive argument and flame war at increasing caps-lock volume that at times seems typical of the internet first. Such an event seems about as counter-intuitive as a superhero team-up that doesn't require a super-brawl to occur first. ;)

Let's see, we can put Warlord Gored in charge of the Orly battalions. If we give the Not-Zs dwagons or gwiffons they might be too focused on air power.

Sure, "V2 Rocket" are the magic words for a Shockamancy spell designed to insult and enrage opposing forces. Works well with their archer units.

The difference between Chaplin and this situation is that there was never any question that Chaplin was making fun of them.

Like I said earlier, the Internet is a breeding ground for people who think "Man, those Nazis sure were swell!" and I was just making sure this wasn't one of those cases.
