My guess? The explanation for this has to do with Date-a-mancy. Parson has developed stronger ties to Erfworld than to his former home. (Part of this is my intuition that Maggie's love for him would help him find his way home from between the worlds, end-of-FFVIII-style.) Erfworld's foundations have... |

Shirley brings up a good point that even Charlie didn't realize. Vanna was having relations with Don before his death, so the heir very well could end up being her son (like Albert being Vinny's son). It's important because even if it makes no mechanical difference, there might be some hidden mecha... |

Well, I always guessed that Ringmaster was canonical, and today's page seems to have confirmed it. I sort of think Naughtymancy has Dark Masters, but I don't know about the rest. |

I wonder if a Tower could become a ruler? If I had to guess, it would take some pretty fancy Carnymancy to make the tower count as a Unit, then make it function as though it is a Commander, then either use more Carnymancy to allow it to remotely claim an unoccupied Capital Site, or empty the city t... |

To me the newest Temple just looks like a Simple Gamepiece Stanley (more detail than we saw in the Marie-Maggie-Jack linkup, but same style as the units there) with 'crazy eyes'. And some odd sort of pipe thing sprouting from the side of its head. |

If we're talking about the Hammer, I think there's a Signamantic link to bopping someone on the head and saying they're something else. I expect it's capable of essentially-free Changemancy that way. Actually, we know that Lightning Can Do Anything, because it's Juice - maybe the Arkenhammer makes S... |

So was Wanda's experiment more pet cemetery , or more human transmutation ? Probably the former. The latter would mostly consist of Changemancy. Interesting that Wanda refused to link with the Big Think, though. With this context, it seems she may have been worried they'd kill themselves. Also, I t... |

Faced with death, can he let go of this whole Badness idea? I think that at least partially depends on why the "Badness idea" exists. In "stupidworld" if Israel has nuclear weapons and is not part of non proliferation treaty, would it give up on idea that Iran having nuclear wea... |

Hmm. Carnymancy can't be used to remove a Fate, only add to it. I bet that if the scroll is used, before the end of the story, Parson will still be Fated to croak Charlie personally. And Parson will return to do so. If used the way RVC implies, it might even link the TV portal to Stupidworld. Also, ... |

Hmmm. I always get a bit uncomfortable around this kind of personality profiling... I mean, in this case, I have issues with the system generally, because it seems to confuse behaviours that arise from the underlying psychology (e.g. 'affectionate', 'withdrawn') with psychology. I appreciate everyt... |

Oh . The page title is a reference to Higurashi no Naku Koro Ne . Isaac is referencing both a cockroach and a cicada, then. Or, in keeping with the themes of Erfworld being built on rock, it's a reference to the Prince song "When Doves Cry" Oh, probably. I get probably half of my popcultu... |

I guess I never got the memo that Marie had any exceptional loyalty to FAQ, making this seem a bit sudden. No loyalty to FAQ. Loyalty to fate. Which likes FAQ very much. If following the FAQ made you lose in single-player mode, it would be a game-breaking bug. Wait. I think (natural) Fate may be th... |

I'm curious if this is "really" Isaac or just the most advanced cloth golem ever created. Oh. Claud did get the wish of all Dollamancers. A living (casting!) unit that was once a Doll. |

So I'm replying to a post from the previous thread here, mainly because it gave me a good jumpoff point... Piecing together the previous two pages... Isaac had the Dollamancer and Dirtamancer wake up Charlescomm to "ask it" what it wants. Then Isaac in the next page was saying it has sharp... |

So, maybe I'm taking this too literally, here... But given the reference to The Binding of Isaac, is it possible Isaac just got singled out and shoved into that doll? The name itself certainly doesn't bode well for him. He's been at odds with the Minds in the past, and they may be feeling particula... |

Well there are some interestong signamancies for Charlescomms prospective new tower avaiable: Skynet has already been mentioned and so has HAL. So what else: Machine City of Matrix (we have had matrix signamancy already) Shodan from System-Shock (sort of Evil Jed) Deus (The twisted Renraku Arcology... |

I'm guessing Charlie's Tower was Fated to do this. And the Arkendish will have its true wielder: a tower. Which may well go Skynet. Charlie was probably using Carnymancy to attune, and that is why he can ally with Parson without winning everything - he'll have lost most of his Archons, his resources... |
